So strange. The first SlutWalk was here in Toronto, and from what I remember (I went out and did a little story about it), it was pretty diverse in terms of genders and colour. Then again, Toronto’s sometimes ridiculously diverse, and the people that showed up don’t necessarily reflect the expectations SlutWalk organizers had about who would show up/who they wanted to show up/who they were trying to include/exclude.
